Game description

SunStruck is a sci-fi horror adventure platformer game which is a 2D side scroller. It tells a story about a boy, named Theoby, trying to survive and traverse in a dystopian world where machines and mutants roam about, to save his sister, named Steris, who is captured by scientists. 

Players play as Theoby and they have to hide from enemies to avoid being captured or killed. Use the stun gun to immobilize enemies for a while and escape, however use the stun gun sparingly as there is a limited amount of charges.

Theoby also has to maneuver around platforms and obstacles to reach checkpoints throughout the environments to progress further. Interact with other characters to understand more about the story. Players have to progress to the end of the game to see how the story of Theoby will come to a conclusion.

World lore

The sun is dead. Morph Corp have created an artificial sun to preserve the natural world, but they ultimately lost control of it when its rays got too intense and caused the earth's biosphere to collapse making its environment uninhabitable. Now, high amounts of radiation exists everywhere. The last members of mankind reside in the underground Machine City, which is populated by robots that maintain order of the city and patrol its streets.
